Apply for a Grant
The Trust runs a grants application process once a year, providing the Festival has surplus funds. Applications will only be considered during that period, as outlined below. If you would like to apply for a grant please note the following:

The grant should support local musical or community projects.

The minimum amount you can apply for is £250.

Applications for grants in excess of £1,000 will not be considered unless they are supported by a costed plan and/or estimates detailing how the money will be spent. Supporting documentation must be sent to UBFTrustees@gmail.com within seven days of the application being submitted.

Applications must be submitted between 1st-28th February. Applications received after 28th February will not be considered.

Submitting an application for a grant does not guarantee it will be successful. Each year, applications are made for about five times the amount of money that is available, so a selection panel will assess each application on its merits and decide which will be successful. The selection panel’s decision is final.

Applicants will be told whether their application has been successful by 31st March.
